Have you heard of the Hühnermarkt in Frankfurt? It translates to the “chicken market”. The chicken market is an important and beautiful part of Frankfurt’s old town. Surrounded by interesting buildings, small shops and various restaurants, a visit offers a lot of variety.
Also a really important must see in Frankfurt is the St. Bartholomäus imperial cathedral. You can climb the cathedral tower via 328 steps. Enjoy the sight from a viewing platform at a height of 66 meters.
But not only the view from the almost 95 meter high cathedral tower is worth a visit, but also its historical significance and its interior furnishings.
Before continuing your tour on the other side of the River, you will take a break and eat at restaurant “Paulaner am Dom”.
