Activities in Berlin

Berlin has great activity offers. Here are some examples & suggestions:

City orientation tour

Did you know, that Berlin has approx. the same size area wise than London, but “only” roughly 3 million inhabitants? The tour will be a combined tour by foot and coach and will take approx. 3 hours and guests will get to know many details about the history of east and west Berlin. The timetable also allows a trip to the eastern parts of the city, where the changes and the history between east and west are very good to see.

Bierbike tour

The routing can be discussed as per the groups wishes. We suggest to maybe visit the more smaller, yet more colourful streets of some of the fashionable districts of the city.

We could start for example at the Hackescher Markt square and then discover Berlin’s most notorious but famous areas: Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg

This is a tour showing two very – let’s say – “down to earth” city parts of Berlin, getting the guests very close to the everyday life of “ordinary” Berliners.

Kreuzberg is very much “little Turkey” in the heart of the German capital and a visit is something like going to Harlem in New York. And Prenzlauer Berg used to be the alternative district of Berlin during GDR times. A lot of old buildings, and no money to renovate them. But these streets are getting posh now, and houses are being renovated after the fall of the Wall – like Notting Hill in London for example.

Both districts show colourful street life a million miles from 5 star luxury and this is what makes this tour so interesting.
